Introduction
You can know a true saint by the following qualities:
- His face is radiant with joy, peace and freedom.
- People who come in contact with him experience bliss or a thoughtless state. The same is true of those who associate with or visit him. They become unaware of the passage of time, while in the presence of the true saint. Usually, children of God who visit a saint feel such a timelessness, that they would not know that they have spent a long period of time with the saint.
- A saint is lively in appearance, movement and action. He is not sluggish, weak or undecided.
- Some churches spend so many years in investigating the likelihood of a person being a saint, after the person is dead. The true saints are the living people of God, whether they are dead or alive. Even those considered dead are not dead.
The long years and beauracracy religions use in confirming a saint are clear evidences that the religious leaders are indeed blind to the realities in spirit. It is possible and easy to know a saint by his appearance, words and actions. For a person, who is spiritually awake, enlightened and experienced, a ten-minute discussion is enough to identify and recognize a saint. For example, when Abraham saw the two Angels going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, it did not take him years to confirm them. When Jesus saw Nathaniel, there and then he confirmed Nathaniel as a Saint. By their fruits you shall know them, and by their works you shall confirm them.
